Given the amazing advances in mapping technology and satellite imagery, surveys are not always a vital part of the due diligence process, as they once were. With the help of ArcGIS or similar mapping software, we are able to identify potential encroachments and determine whether or not a survey – and its tens of thousands of dollars price tag – is needed.
