⚡️8️⃣⚡️ Eight years ago today, I hit “publish” on the first episode of Mountain & Prairie.

I had no expectations that anyone would listen, much less that it would eventually become my full-time vocation. What a unexpectedly rewarding journey it has been.

But the best part, hands down, has been THE PEOPLE.

Because of the podcast, I’ve met some of the most inspiring, adventurous, curious, smart, hilarious, humble, tough, and creative people imaginable– and I’m proud to now call many of them my good friends.

I’m not just talking about the podcast guests–I’m talking about listeners, supporters, partners, workshop participants, people who’ve reached out via email, folks I’ve met at events, and yes, as much as I don’t want to admit it, people I’ve met here on Instagram (thanks, Zuck).

I can’t even begin to sufficiently express my gratitude to everyone for being so supportive and encouraging, for sharing the podcast with friends, leaving kind reviews, joining Patreon, reading my emails, and generally just restoring my faith in humanity after way too many years spent tangling with various forms of shifty business scumbags.

Without your interest and the precious time you devote to listening and reading, none of this would exist. So thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU for your interest in all of my weird interests.

I take this work very seriously, and I’m excited to continue cranking hard for year number nine… and many more years after that.
